HOW TO USE:
- Locate the CAN-Bus Connection: Identify the CAN-Bus network connection point within your electric vehicle. Consult your vehicle’s service manual for the exact location.
- Connect the EV CAN Harness: Plug the provided EV CAN Harness into the CAN-Bus connection point in your vehicle.
- Connect the EV CAN Jumper Harness: Connect the other end of the EV CAN Harness to the designated CAN-Bus input on the Speedhut gauge. Use the EV CAN Jumper Harness to bridge any necessary connections within the CAN-Bus network if required by your vehicle’s setup.
- Connect the Power and Lighting Harness: Attach the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to the corresponding connector on the Speedhut gauge.
- Provide Power: Connect the power wire (typically red) from the Power & Lighting Harness to a suitable 12V power source in your vehicle. Connect the ground wire (typically black) to a reliable ground point. If your gauge has lighting features, connect the appropriate wire (often orange or similar) to your vehicle’s lighting circuit if desired.
- Mount the Gauge: Insert the 4-inch gauge into a 3.93-inch (100mm) diameter hole in your dashboard or chosen mounting location. Secure it using the appropriate mounting hardware (usually included with the gauge).
- Verify Functionality: Once all connections are secure, turn on your electric vehicle. The Speedhut EV Power Gauge should power on and display real-time power readings.
