HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Ensure your vehicle’s ignition is off and disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety.
- Mounting: Locate a suitable 4-inch (100mm) diameter opening in your dashboard. Insert the tachometer into the opening from the front.
- Securing: From the back of the dashboard, slide the included gauge mounting ring over the back of the tachometer. Tighten the ring to secure the gauge firmly in place.
- Wiring – Power: Connect the power harness. Connect the red wire to a switched 12V power source (ignition), the black wire to ground, and the orange wire to the vehicle’s lighting circuit for illumination. Refer to the included wiring diagram.
- Wiring – Tachometer Signal: Locate the tachometer signal wire from your vehicle’s ignition system. Connect the gauge’s signal wire to this wire.
- Final Checks: Double-check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and correct.
- Testing: Reconnect the negative battery terminal. Turn the ignition on and start the engine. Verify the tachometer displays the correct RPM readings.
