HOW TO USE:
- Connect the EV CAN Harness: Plug the provided EV CAN Harness into the designated CAN-bus port of your electric vehicle’s system.
- Connect the Gauge: Attach the other end of the EV CAN Harness to the corresponding connector on the Speedhut EV Speedometer Gauge.
- Connect the Power and Lighting Harness: Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to the gauge’s power and lighting terminals. Ensure the power wire is connected to a suitable 12V power source in your vehicle and the ground wire is properly grounded.
- Optional Indicator Wiring: If you have the optional turn signal and high beam indicators, connect the respective wires from the Power & Lighting Harness to the corresponding 12V activated outputs for your turn signals and high beam.
- Mount the Gauge: Insert the 4-1/2″ gauge into a 4.230″ (108mm) diameter hole in your dashboard. Secure it using the provided mounting hardware.
- Verify Functionality: Once all connections are made, turn on your electric vehicle to ensure the speedometer is receiving data and displaying the speed correctly. Check the optional turn signal and high beam indicators if installed.
