HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Choose a suitable location in your vehicle and drill a 2.062-inch (52mm) hole. Securely mount the Speedhut Differential Temperature Gauge in this opening.
- Install the Temperature Sensor: Locate the appropriate port on your vehicle’s differential housing. Install the included Speedhut Temperature Sensor into this port. Ensure it is properly tightened for an accurate reading.
- Connect the Sensor Wiring: Connect the 2-wire cable from the included Temperature Gauge Wiring Harness to the terminals on the installed Speedhut Temperature Sensor.
- Connect the Gauge Wiring: Connect the other end of the Temperature Gauge Wiring Harness to the corresponding terminals on the back of the Speedhut Temperature Gauge.
- Connect the Power and Lighting Harness: Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to the designated power and ground terminals on the back of the gauge. Connect the other end to a suitable power source in your vehicle (typically a switched 12V source) and a reliable ground. This harness also powers the gauge’s LED backlighting.
- Verify Functionality: Once all connections are made, start your vehicle and observe the gauge. As the differential fluid warms up, the gauge should display an increasing temperature reading. Ensure the backlighting is also functioning correctly.
