Description
Rottenstone rubbing abrasive is used to rub out finishes to a high gloss, especially on traditional French polishes. It is used with a lubricant like mineral oil or mineral spirits. Use slightly coarser pumice stone powder before rottenstone.
Mesh Grit
- Rottenstone powder is approximately 400 mesh
- FFFF pumice stone powder is approximately 200 mesh
- FFF pumice stone powder is approximately 160 mesh
