Powered by a robust 15HP motor, the SLR12 ensures consistent cutting performance through hardwoods, sheet goods, and heavy stock. The saw includes five stock hold-downs and dual anti-kickback devices, ensuring each board is securely held in place for safe, accurate, and repeatable rips. Its heavy-duty precision rip fence moves along a solid steel guide rail and is micro-adjustable for quick setup.

The SLR12 features caterpillar feed chain blocks made of special-grade cast iron that has been heat-treated and precision-machined. The track operates on hardened “V” way guides, ensuring rigidity and accuracy. To reduce maintenance and extend the machine’s life, the SLR12 is equipped with an automatic conveyor chain oiler with a shutoff control to optimize lubrication and prevent unnecessary waste. Additionally, a 2HP feed motor with variable speed allows you to perfectly match feed rates with your production needs.

Controls for adjusting rip width, cutting depth, and the main and feed motors are conveniently located at the front for quick job changes. The control console can also be swung away to provide more feeding space when needed. With an 18″ rip capacity and a 3-7/8″ depth of cut, the SLR12 effectively handles a wide range of materials and production requirements.
