This heavy-duty 1300-pound cast-iron planer offers exceptional rigidity and precision for years of reliable planing. The hinged top provides easy access to the rollers and knives, and it features a 5-inch dust port that easily connects to any dust collection system. 

The cutterhead is designed with a helical configuration and 150 four-sided knife inserts, which deliver a superior finish and quieter operation compared to traditional cutterheads. These inserts can be installed without further adjustments. Anti-kickback fingers and a pressure bar are positioned close to the cutterhead to ensure an exceptional finish.

Infeed and outfeed rollers are equipped with roller bearings for enhanced durability, while the sectional infeed roller and chip breaker allow for multiple boards to be planed simultaneously. Adjustable bed rollers make it easy to switch between rough and finish planing. The solid steel outfeed roller is machined with small serrations to provide a smooth finish while ensuring positive feeding.

The two-speed gearbox, with machined detents, allows for quick changes from rough to finish work at the front of the machine. The massive, ribbed cast-iron table is ground-finished and moves smoothly via the handwheel. Powered by a robust 7-1/2 horsepower motor, the 201HH Planer is ideal for small to medium-sized shops with ongoing planing needs.
