Nordic Pure 15x20x1M14+C-4 Pleated Air Filters MERV 14 Plus Carbon 4 Pack – 15x20x1 are made from electrostatically charged synthetic materials with an added flat panel infused with activated charcoal that attracts and captures most airborne particulates in your home. These filters help eliminate unwanted odors and trap airborne dust and particulate matter, ensuring fresh, clean air. Odorous gases and vapors (VOC) are attracted to and held by the activated carbon layer while maintaining excellent airflow. The permanently electrostatically charged media acts like a magnet to capture dust effectively. MERV 14 Plus Carbon filters offer filtration performance comparable to MPR 2800. Due to higher filtration and airflow resistance, these filters are best suited for HVAC systems rated to handle MERV 14 and above, including newer high-efficiency systems with HEPA filters. We recommend replacing filters every 30–90 days to maintain maximum efficiency and economy.
