HOW TO USE:

1. Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure the vehicle’s engine is off and cool. Locate the power steering fluid reservoir and remove the cap.
2. Connect the Tester: Disconnect the power steering return line from the reservoir. Insert the appropriate adapter from the kit into the reservoir’s return port and connect the tester’s hose to it. Connect the vehicle’s return line to the other side of the tester, ensuring all connections are secure and leak-free.
3. Start the Engine: Start the engine and let it idle. Observe the pressure reading on the gauge.
4. Test System Pressure: Slowly turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times to cycle the fluid and purge any air from the system. Observe the maximum pressure reached during this process. Consult the vehicle’s service manual for expected pressure ranges.
