HOW TO USE:

• To Open: Locate the flipper tab protruding from the back of the handle. Apply slight pressure to the flipper tab with your index finger. The SpeedSafe assisted opening mechanism will engage, swiftly deploying the blade to the fully open position.
• To Engage Lock: Once the blade is fully open, the frame lock will automatically engage, securing the blade in place. Visually confirm that a portion of the handle (the frame lock bar) is firmly positioned behind the blade’s tang.
• To Cut: Use the plain edge blade for your desired cutting task. Exercise caution, as the blade is designed to be very sharp.
• To Close: Place your thumb on the frame lock bar (the part of the handle locking the blade) and gently push it to the side, away from the blade’s tang. This will disengage the lock.
• To Fold: While holding the lock open, carefully fold the blade back into the handle using your other hand or by gently pressing the spine of the blade. Ensure your fingers are clear of the blade’s path.
• To Engage Tip-Lock: Once the blade is fully closed, slide the small Tip-Lock mechanism (a slider on the handle) to the locked position. This secures the blade tip within the handle, preventing accidental opening during carry.
