HOW TO USE:
- Prepare Surfaces: Ensure all surfaces to be bonded or repaired are completely clean, dry, and free from any dirt, grease, or debris. For the strongest bond, lightly roughen the surfaces before applying the adhesive.
- Open Tube: Puncture the seal located in the neck of the tube using the pointed cap. Confirm that the product and work area temperatures are between 50 and 90 °F (10 and 32 °C) for best performance.
- Apply Adhesive: Directly apply the Amazing GOOP Trim Repair to each surface that you intend to bond or repair.
- Allow Partial Cure: After application, allow the adhesive to partially cure for approximately 2 minutes before bringing the surfaces together.
- Mate Surfaces: Once partially cured, carefully align and firmly press the adhesive-coated surfaces into contact with each other. Apply sufficient pressure to ensure full contact and an immediate bond. Note that once contact is made, repositioning will be difficult.
- Cure Repair: Allow the repair to cure for a minimum of 24 hours. Depending on the specific materials and ambient temperature, the adhesive may take 48 to 72 hours to reach its maximum strength.
- Cap Storage: To prevent the cap from sticking and ensure easy removal for future use, apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to the threads of the tube before securely replacing the cap.
