Special carbide-tipped roundover bits only for use in the Festool OFKC 500 Cordless Edge Router.
Festool’s small roundover bits are ideal for clean, precise edge profiling on small and delicate workpieces. Designed primarily for solid wood, they also deliver smooth results on plastic edge banding. The collet-free, hollow-shaft design mounts straight onto the trim router shaft – no collet required – for stable, wobble-free cutting. The result is a smooth, uniform round-over and a clean finish with minimal setup and maximum control.
Single flute bits reduce heat to prevents burn marks, especally when routing across the grain. Double flute bits provide longer cutting life and more consistent finshes.
These bits have hollow shanks and are secured to the router using the center screw.
Bearing guide and mounting screw are not included. The OFK 500 router comes with a screw and bearing that can be used with all of these bits. Replacement screws and bearings are sold separately.
