Dynabrade 59040 6-Inch Dynorbital-Spirit Random Orbital Sander is the lightest orbital air sander in the world! Powered by a .25 HP air motor, it delivers smooth sanding at 12,000 RPM, ideal for finishing and deburring on materials like metal, wood, composites, stone, marble, fillers, and primers. With a 3/32″ orbit, this sander provides ultra-fine sanding for flawless finishes. It also comes with a lifetime warranty for peace of mind.
Features:
- Includes low-profile, premium urethane weight-mated sanding pad. Optional vacuum conversion kits available to easily convert from non-vacuum to self-generated or central vacuum tools. The black lever identifies the 3/32″ orbit for ultra-fine sanding.
- Drop-In Motor available (sold separately) to reduce downtime during maintenance. True 12,000 RPM air motor with a floating rotor and five blades produces more usable power (.25 hp/186 W), using less air (14 SCFM/396 LPM) efficiently to maintain maximum power.
- New Comfort Platform provides added hand and wrist support for improved comfort and protection against cold air exhaust. The Comfort Platform is removable, and can be ordered separately (59330).
- Throttle lever recesses into housing to eliminate pressure points on the palm. Dynorbital-Spirit® lever is made from composite material to insulate against cold air. The lever is color-coded to designate tool orbit. Easy maintenance and vacuum conversion options. Low sound levels due to muffling system.
- Speed Control allows for easy thumb-controlled regulation of tool speed. The lighter air-motor assembly is ideal for vertical and overhead sanding. The precision one-piece motor shaft and counterbalance improve efficiency. High-quality Double Row Pad Bearing, protected by a unique V-Seal, reduces vibration and improves bearing life.
