HOW TO USE:

• Access the AED: Retrieve the HeartSine® SAM 360P AED from the wall cabinet.
• Power On: The AED will automatically turn on when the lid is opened, or via the power button if available.
• Attach Electrode Pads: Follow the voice and visual prompts to attach the electrode pads to the patient’s bare chest, as indicated.
• Analyze Heart Rhythm: The AED will analyze the patient’s heart rhythm. Do not touch the patient during analysis.
• Deliver Shock (if advised): If the AED advises a shock, ensure no one is touching the patient and press the shock button (or allow the automatic shock to be delivered).
• Follow CPR Prompts: The AED will provide voice and visual prompts for performing CPR, including chest compressions and rescue breaths. Continue following these prompts until emergency services arrive.
• Post-Use: After use, replace the Pad-Pak and any used items from the prep kit.
