Nordic Pure 14x25x2PM12C-3 Furnace Air Filters MERV 12 Pleated Plus Carbon 3 Pack – 14x25x2 are made of a dual-layer material that combines MERV 12 rated synthetic media with a carbon layer to provide enhanced filtration and odor control. These filters help eliminate unwanted odors and capture airborne dust, pollen, pet dander, and other particulates to deliver fresh, clean air. The activated carbon layer attracts and holds volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odorous gases while maintaining excellent airflow. Each filter is built with a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame and reinforced with a metal mesh support grid. The electrostatically charged material acts like a magnet, helping particles cling to the filter surface. MERV 12 Plus Carbon filters are comparable to MPR 1500–1900 rated filters and are ideal for residential or light commercial use. We recommend replacing the filters every 30–90 days depending on air quality conditions and usage.
