HOW TO USE:

1. Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 4-inch (100mm) opening in your vehicle’s dashboard or instrument panel. Insert the Speedhut gauge into the opening and secure it using the spin-lock ring from the back of the gauge.
2. Connect Power and Lighting: Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to the gauge. Connect the red wire to a 12V positive power source that is switched with the ignition. Connect the black wire to a reliable ground. The other wires in this harness are typically for optional lighting control.
3. Install the GPS Antenna: Choose a location for the GPS antenna that has a clear view of the sky. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and secure. Connect the GPS antenna cable to the corresponding connector on the back of the gauge.
4. Connect the Tachometer Signal: Locate a suitable tachometer signal wire in your vehicle’s engine bay. This is typically a wire connected to the negative side of the ignition coil, the ECU’s tach output, or another appropriate RPM signal source. Connect this wire to the designated wire on the 8 ft Tachometer Harness. Ensure this connection is secure and properly insulated.
5. Start Your Vehicle: Once all connections are made, start your vehicle. The speedometer should begin displaying your speed as soon as it acquires a GPS signal. The tachometer should display the engine’s RPM.
