Make your own custom plugs with these tapered plug cutters from Fuller. They produce cleanly cut plugs with chamfered ends. The angle of taper helps the plug fit tightly into a countersunk hole that may not be perfectly sized. A 1/4″ hex shank ensures that your drill press chuck will hold the shank securely. Available sizes 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″ and 5/8″.For exterior projects, where maximum wood to wood contact for gluing plugs is critical, use the standard Fuller plug cutters to make straight sided plugs.
