Description
For over ninety years Arti has set the standard for an enormous variety of colors and faithful consistency from one production lot to the next–and for over thirty years Arti dyes have been the leading wood stains sold at Highland Woodworking.
Arti dyes are sold in dry powder form, ready to be mixed with boiling water to create any amount of dye required. Prescribed concentrations vary from 100 grams of powder per liter of water for Deep Black to as little as 10 grams per liter for lighter colors such as Light Oak. Average is around 30 grams per liter (over 3 quarts of mixed dye per container of powder), which makes these some of the most economical wood stains on the market. Colors can be mixed to create custom hues. Shelf life of the dry powders is at least several years. Arti dyes are colorfast unless subject to prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Articidol dyes are for any wood. If you’re working with open-pored woods, you may find that theArtiporin dyes are a better choice. They are formulated specifically for open-pored wood such as oak or ash.
