Almost all Festool power tools usePlug-It power cords.Plug-It cords easily detach from Festool tools for storage and transport.
Most Festool tools (sanders, Dominos, Trion jig saws, Carvex jig saws) use an 18-gauge Plug-It cord.
More powerful tools require an16-gauge Plug-It cord.
Each type has a different connector shape (see the chart below) to prevent light 18 gauge cords from being used on tools that require 16 gauge cords.16-gauge cords are compatible with all Festool tools that use Plug-It cords.
