PBL55F: The PBL55F is an insulated full coverage drum heater specifically designed to fit a 55 gallon drum and encasing it fully in Powerblanket’s patented tough vinyl heating cover. The heater is built for use with 120 volts AC, drawing 3.33 amps thus producing 400 watts. It has a preset thermostat set to maintain up to a maximum 145 ¼F / 63 ¼C (± 10 ¼F/5 ¼C). The PBL55F full-coverage drum heaters allow you to safely control the temperature of expensive chemicals and other fluids; it delivers a barrier of directional heat where itÕs needed most, the bottom 2/3rds of the drum, while still insulating the top third to help retain the heat Ð preventing fluids from freezing and maintaining optimal temperatures. This innovative heat-spreading technology insulates, protects and maintains heat in a wide variety of applications. And it’s certified by ETL to UL & CSA safety standards.
