Festool’s TSC 55 track saw brings superb high performance to the cordless circular saw,making precision cutting possible even where electric power is not available.Equipped with two 18-volt batteries, the TSC 55 KEB provides the track saw accuracy of Festool’s flagship TS 55while delivering up to 100 meters of cutting capacity on a single charge. It can also beused at a lower RPM with a single 18-volt battery.
Splinterguards on both sides of the saw blade help make tearout-free cuts possible in almost any material.The 160mm (6-1/4″), 42-tooth blade tilts from negative 1° to 47°, and a micro-adjust scale lets you fine tune the blade depth up to 2-1/8″ at 90°, or 1-11/16″ at 45° while sitting right on the material (with guide rail maximum depth is 1-15/16″ at 90° & 1-7/16″ at 45°.) The easy-mount dustbag effectively captures 90% of the sawdust.
Kickback Prevention
Often, even just a millisecond is crucial: kickback is the most common cause of serious injuries when using a track saw. Our unique kickback stop therefore stops the saw blade of our cordless track saw in the blink of an eye, and so not only protects your workpiece but also helps to minimize the risk of injury to your hands. When combined with our new generation of saw blades, the user experiences this unparalleled safety paired with both maximum cutting performance and perfect cutting quality. The sawing system is rounded off with clever system accessories, such as guide rails, angle stops, splinter guards and saw tables.
Thin Kerf Bade
The TSC 55 K uses 1.8mm kerf blades. These thinner blades provide the same quality cut that you expect from a Festool track saw, but cut much faster that the standard 2.2mm kerf. This allows users to make powerful, precise cuts at up to twice the speed with an extended battery range.
Guide Rail
We strongly recommend that you buy a guide rail (Sold separately) to go with your track saw. You cannot experience the full benefits of this saw without the guide rail.
