2. Install the Temperature Sensor: Identify the appropriate location on your engine’s cooling system (typically a coolant passage or thermostat housing) and install the Speedhut temperature sensor. Connect the Temperature Gauge Wiring Harness (2-Wire Cable) to the sensor and the gauge.
3. Install the Pressure Sensor: Locate the oil pressure port on your engine (usually near the oil filter or oil pump) and install the 100 psi pressure sensor. Connect the Pressure Gauge Wiring Harness (3-Wire Cable) to the sensor and the gauge.
4. Connect Power and Lighting: Attach the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to a suitable power source (typically 12V ignition switched) and ground. Connect the other end to the gauge to power the display and warning light.
5. Verify Readings: Once all connections are made, start your vehicle and ensure the gauge is displaying accurate readings for both water temperature and oil pressure. Check that the warning light functions as expected.
