HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Always read the directions thoroughly before starting and test the adhesive on a small, inconspicuous area first. Ensure that the surfaces you intend to bond are clean, completely dry, and free of any dirt, grease, or debris. For the most secure bond, it is recommended to lightly roughen the surfaces before applying the adhesive.
- Opening the Tube: If using a tube with a foil seal, carefully puncture the inner seal using the pointer cap. For cartridge versions, trim the end of the nozzle and then puncture the inner seal.
- Application: Apply the adhesive directly to one or both surfaces that you wish to bond or repair. The ideal temperature range for applying E6000 is between 50 to 90 °F (10 to 32 °C).
- Curing Time: Allow a minimum of 24 hours for the adhesive to cure. While a strong bond will form within this time, the maximum bond strength may not be fully achieved for up to 72 hours.
- Storage Tips: To ensure the cap can be easily removed for future use, apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to the threads of the tube before replacing the cap. If you are using a cartridge, cover or plug the opening of the nozzle to prolong its shelf life after opening.
- Clean-Up: Any uncured adhesive can be cleaned effectively using acetone or citrus-based solvents.
