Description
The Sorby SteadyPro gives extra support in many turning operations, including hollowing. The front roller provides a solid base for your turning tool. The cantilevered rear roller adjusts to the thickness of your tool – capturing it. This helps steady the tool against the downward pressure of the workpiece. The SteadyPro provides all this support while maintaining wide range of movement so you can focus on your turning rather than holding the tool steady.

To choose the correct version for you lathe, measure the diameter and length of your tool rest.
Tool Compatibilty
The SteadyPro is compatible with most brands of turning tools that are used with the shaft parallel to the floor, including carbide-tipped tools.
