Festool AB-KS Kapex Crown Stop

Description

The Festool Crown Stop is a multi-purpose extension and stop used with theKapex Miter Saw. The main part of the the Crown Stop is a 5-3/8″ wide by 8-1/4″ deep table extension that mounts to the side of the Kapex saw in seconds (just tighten the knob!) The groove in the table extension can acceptFestool FS Clampsto use as hold downs or the sliding stop(see below).

The
sliding stopcan be used to hold a workpiece against the fence, but it’s primary use is tosupport a piece of crown molding leaned against the fence when cutting the miter. (Upside down and backwards, of course.)

When using the crown stop, you can quickly and accurately position crown molding stock – greatly simplifying the setup work for this complicated cut.See the PDF of the directions belowto get a better idea of how this works.

The Crown Stop includes one table extension and one sliding stop. It can be used on either side of the Kapex saw. If you need crown stops for both sides of your saw, you need two crown stops.

Please Note:The Crown Stop is not compatible with the theKapex Extensions.
